DESCRIPTION
Pack & Match is a Match 3 game with a cool art style. The has endless levels which the player will progress through. Whilst progressing through the levels, there are character challenges where the player can complete objectives for certain characters for rewards
What I Did
For this Game, I did not create anything that made it into the game, but I did create a Feature presentation. Which was going to be added into the game as it was approved internally, but due to financial difficulties with the partnership between Kwalee and Infinity Games, the partnership came to a sudden halt, with both sides stepping away from this game.
With that said, I still feel like the work I completed for this game was good and professional, and I delivered on areas that needed me to deliver on. I did an in-depth analysis of the data provided by the developers and detailed research into the match-3 genre, by using research tools such as Game Refinery and Sensor Tower to direct my design choices for the feature i wanted to add.

Feature Presentation
As a Junior Game Designer, I proposed a feature to enhance the game's long-term engagement and level progression. My concept was to introduce a dynamic meta-progression loop where:

World Changes: Every 50 or 100 levels, the scenery of the meta-world and in-game environment would visually change, providing a sense of accomplishment.

Character Narratives: This would also include the already existing character feature by having a new character that would be introduced with each scene change, offering the player a series of narrative-driven objectives to complete.
This feature was designed to give players a clear, achievable goal that would change the pace and make continuous progression significantly more engaging. Based on an analysis of top competitors like Match Factory, which utilizes a similar mechanic to maintain player interest, I projected that this feature would boost later-day retention (D3-D14).
